Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) is seeking a Field Superintendent for New Installations in Atlanta. You will oversee all installation phases, ensure quality, safety, and cost control, and lead field technicians to deliver projects on time.

You will coordinate with contractors, customers, and internal teams, manage union relations, and participate in bid reviews and progress meetings to drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical leadership or elevator industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field or substantial industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee relations and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of elevator installation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control.
• Lead and develop field technicians, coordinate job site readiness, and manage payroll accuracy.
• Monitor progress with site visits, improve efficiency, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Manage manpower with union representatives and resolve staffing issues.
• Support bids, progress meetings, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Coordinate handovers with quality, engineering, and service teams.
