Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Technical Support Agent to join the Elevator Controls team. The role focuses on resolving complex controller issues, instructing customers, and maintaining uptime with precision.

The ideal candidate has an electronics background, 3–5 years in customer support, and strong English communication; Spanish skill is a plus. This in-person, full-time position requires travel on short notice and after-hours on-call availability.

Qualifications

• AA or Technical Degree in Electronics or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on technical work in a customer support environment.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles.
• Ability to read and interpret line diagrams and schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to resolve technical problems with EC control systems in delivery, installation, operation, maintenance, upgrade, and repair.
• Requires discretion to achieve timely solutions, minimize downtime, and control costs.
• Analyze and verify proper operation of elevator control options to meet needs and safety requirements.
• Explain technical information clearly via phone or email.
• Document customer issues and steps taken to resolve.
• Monitor call queues and respond with urgency and process adherence.
• Provide technical training and presentations as needed, in-house or at customer locations.
• Escalate unresolved issues to management for timely response.
• After-hours on-call availability may be required.
• Periodic travel to customer sites, willing to travel on short notice.
• Provide technical/sales engineering support and training when needed.
• Other job-related assignments as assigned.
