Job summary

Fujitec America is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design elevator control systems that meet customer specifications and codes. The role involves independent judgement and data analysis to feasibility of designs.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, drafting with AutoCAD, supporting field installations, and developing technical documentation. A BSEE/BSEET or related degree with 2–4 years of design/manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSEET or related degree required.
• 2–4 years' design or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD for elevator applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, software, and components for elevators.
• Organize and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Apply mathematical and engineering principles to electrical system designs.
• Apply applicable elevator, building, and electrical code.
• Contribute to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.
• Use AutoCAD to design and draft elevator applications.
• Provide support to field site installations.
• Create technical documents pertaining to new design, use of new device and work process changes.
• Provide support to factory during fabrication of elevator control systems.
