Job summary

Fujitec America is seeking a Project Engineer to direct activities related to sale and installation contracts for elevators/escalators. The role requires independent judgment on significant matters and cross-functional collaboration with HQ, vendors, and owners.

Responsibilities include evaluating estimates, updating performance metrics, preparing bids, and coordinating contract drawings. A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience are advised; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in related field.
• PMP certification is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine estimates of material, equipment, and production costs to ensure completeness.
• Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required.
• Review bids for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bids.
• Coordinate drawings and approvals with HQ/Vendors to the GC/Owner for required materials on each project.
• Establish and maintain contract status databases and monitor project performance metrics for risk management.
• Coordinate drawing approvals externally and work of other departments internally to fulfill contractual obligations.
