Job summary

Fujitec America is actively seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and test elevator control systems in Ohio. You will analyze customer design proposals, apply engineering principles, and ensure compliance with relevant codes; AutoCAD experience is required for drafting elevator applications.

This role also supports field installations and documents new designs and process changes. The ideal candidate has a BSEE/BSEET or related degree and 2–4 years of design/manufacturing

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSEET or related degree.
• Preferred 2-4 years' experience in design or manufacturing role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, software, and components for elevators.
• Organize and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs.
• Apply applicable elevator, building, and electrical code.
• Contribute to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.
• Use AutoCAD to design and draft elevator applications.
• Provide support to field site installations.
• Create technical documents pertaining to new design, use of new device and work process changes.
• Provide support to factory during fabrication of elevator control systems.
