Job summary

Fujitec America seeks an Electrical Engineer at entry to intermediate level to design elevator control systems that meet customer specifications and applicable codes. This role requires independent judgment on design challenges.

You will use AutoCAD to draft elevator applications, analyze data from proposals and manuals, and support field installations and fabrication activities. A BSEE/BSEET or related degree with 2–4 years of design or manufacturing experience is preferred.

• 2-4 years' experience in design or manufacturing.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY

Entry to intermediate level position responsible for designing elevator control systems to match customer driven and code required specifications. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, software, and components for elevators.
• Organize and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs.
• Apply applicable elevator, building, and electrical code.
• Contribute to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.
• Use AutoCAD to design and draft elevator applications.
• Provide support to field site installations.
• Create technical documents pertaining to new design, use of new device and work process changes.
• Provide support to factory during fabrication of elevator control systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Preferred 2-4 years' experience in design or manufacturing role.
