Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of closely related cooking or food service experience in high-volume or fast casual dining.
• ServeSafe Certification or state-equivalent required.
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods with good judgement when dealing with guests.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with guests, business partners, and peers.
• Maintain a professional image with grooming and uniform guidelines.
• Prepare food following recipes, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning and serving items.
• Follow prep lists and keep records; requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
• Operate knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, slice, and peel items on prep list and store prepared foods with proper labeling.
• Follow all brand standards including food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure safe handling and rotation of prepped items and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Work well in a fast-paced setting; be detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
• Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by supervisor.
• Report equipment repairs and maintenance needs to management.
