Job summary

Farmington Country Club is seeking a Casual Restaurant Server for The Grill, a high-volume, American Bistro–style venue at Charlottesville. You will serve members and guests with personalized attention, building knowledge of wine and beverages while working in both indoor and outdoor dining spaces.

Availability 3–5 shifts weekly, including evenings and weekends, is preferred. The Grill operates breakfast through dinner daily, with a tip-based pay model supplemented by 20% gratuity and tip

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Wine and beverage knowledge preferred.
• Able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand for six hours.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Year-round availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening, side-work, and closing checklists.
• Maintain table cleanliness and setup.
• Greet members by name and provide personalized service.
• Input beverage and food orders into the POS.
• Adhere to Virginia ABC Laws and safety procedures.
• Provide wine and beverage knowledge to guests.
