Job summary

Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Casual Restaurant Runner/Host for our high-volume Food and Beverage team. You will greet members and guests warmly, manage seating flow and reservations, and help with take-out orders. The role offers shifts across Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, with evenings and weekends required.

Runners earn $12/hour base plus a 3% tip-out; Hosts earn $8/hour with 20% gratuity included. This is a year-round position.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of similar food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members immediately upon entry with a smile and by name.
• Maintain seating flow and balance reservations with the waitlist.
• Take to-go orders and manage runner station.
• Deliver up to 3 plates to tables according to presentation in the window.
• Assist with bussing and sanitizing tables.
• Attend staff pre-shift meetings and follow service checklists.
• Coordinate with expo and kitchen to ensure timely service.
