Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is seeking a Banquet Experienced Cook to support daily banquet culinary operations for meetings, weddings, conferences, and resort functions. Placement as Cook II or Cook I depends on experience and leadership ability.

The role requires preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food in a fast-paced, upscale setting, with opportunities for growth in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of banquet or high-volume culinary leadership experience (luxury hospitality or resort preferred).
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of banquet service flow and large-scale food production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate high-quality banquet items per recipes & standards.
• Assist in large-scale production for buffets, plated meals, and VIP events.
• Maintain flavor, texture and presentation consistency across dishes.
