Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is seeking a Banquet Set Up - On Call to prepare, service, and teardown banquet and event spaces. You will support banquet servers and event staff, ensuring setups align with client expectations and resort standards in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

Previous banquet setup or event operations experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down banquet and event spaces according to event specifications.
Ensure room layouts, furniture arrangements, and equipment are properly placed for each event.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas and equipment.
Assist banquet servers and event staff by ensuring necessary supplies, linens, and equipment are available.
Respond to last-minute changes and adjustments to ensure smooth event execution.
Assist with loading and unloading event equipment as needed.
Ensure all banquet areas meet safety and sanitation standards and report maintenance issues.
Work with banquet and culinary teams to ensure timely setup and breakdown.
Support post-event clean-up and resetting spaces for upcoming functions.
Uphold Black Desert Resort’s service standards for elevated guest experiences.
