Job summary

School District 27J seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional for elementary intensive support. Based at Second Creek Elementary, you will assist in classrooms, support students with disabilities, and implement IEP goals under supervision.

The role requires data collection, behavior support, and collaboration with teachers and specialists. Evening or after-hours trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Record data and write routine reports or simple correspondences.
• Apply basic math concepts including algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with disabilities.
• Modify materials and classroom environment under direction of teachers.
• Support positive behavior and safety per plan and CPI where needed.
• Maintain student records and complete required forms.
• Collaborate with teachers and Specialists on IEP goals.
