27J Schools seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional - Intensive Support in the Denver metro area to provide direct academic and behavioral assistance to students with disabilities. You will support teachers, modify materials, and help implement life skills and personal care tasks as delegated by the school nurse.

Position runs 8.5 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday, with a 9‑month schedule and benefits eligibility. Prior IEP experience and CPI familiarity are valued assets in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtainable within 2 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with social/emotional disabilities in special education and general education classes.
• Modify materials and classroom environment under direction from teachers.
• Identify and facilitate peer relationships and natural supports.
• Follow behavior intervention plans and CPI measures to ensure safety.
• Maintain required forms and records and communicate progress to staff.
• Assist teachers with clerical duties and attend trainings and meetings.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and implement daily routines for consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
