Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools Endeavour Elementary School in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to support students under the supervision of a special education instructor and building principal.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one or more: 455+ on ETS ParaPro/PRAXIS; Associate Degree or higher; 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher; Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.
• Additional qualification details and state requirements are included in the district’s CBA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of instructional activities for students with IEPs.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support under the teacher’s direction.
• Follow behavioral management plans and document student progress.
