Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools Ellsworth Elementary School in Vancouver, Washington seeks a Special Education Paraeducator. This permanent, student-support role reports to the Special Education Instructor/Building Principal within the Special Services department. You will work 6.33 hours per day (7:40 a.m.

– 2:30 p.m. with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch), 190 days per year, and participate in state-required training after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one or more of the following: 455+ on ETS ParaPro/PRAXIS; or Associate Degree or higher; or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level+; or completion of a Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.
