• Plans a program of study meeting students' needs, interests, abilities.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment and communicates clear objectives.
• Guides learning toward district curriculum goals and establishes lesson objectives.
• Maintains records as required by law and accepts assessments and progress reports.
• Diagnoses learning challenges and seeks district specialist assistance when needed.
• Attends meetings and participates in district/teacher evaluations.
