Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a leave-coverage assignment at an elementary school in New York. The contract runs from September 8, 2026 to October 30, 2026, with potential extension through December, full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

You will deliver up to 40 thirty-minute therapy sessions weekly, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and staff, and communicate progress with families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC preferred; CFY considered.
• Experience providing school-based speech-language services, especially in elementary settings.
• Strong communication, time management and documentation skills.
• Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans.
• Responsive to needs of young children and families.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver up to 40 therapy sessions per week, each 30 minutes.
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and session notes.
• Engage with parents/guardians on strategies to support students.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed.
• Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
