Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a leave-coverage assignment at an elementary school in New York. The contract runs from September 8, 2026 to October 30, 2026, with potential extension through December, full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

You will deliver up to 40 thirty-minute therapy sessions weekly, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and staff, and communicate progress with families.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • CCC preferred; CFY considered.
  • Experience providing school-based speech-language services, especially in elementary settings.
  • Strong communication, time management and documentation skills.
  • Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans.
  • Responsive to needs of young children and families.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Job description

Step into a vibrant elementary school environment and support students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a leave coverage opportunity. This contract role begins September 8, 2026, and runs through October 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension through December. You’ll be working full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, providing vital speech and language services to young learners in a collaborative school community.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY considered
  • Previous experience providing speech/language services in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level
  • Solid communication, time management, and documentation skills
  • Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
  • Responsive to the needs of young children and their families
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
