Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI).
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements and show written evidence of preparation.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and activities reflecting diverse student needs.
• Conduct assessment of student learning and use results to plan instruction.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Be available for consultation with district personnel, students, and parents during scheduled hours.
• Communicate with students or parents regularly by phone, email, or videoconference.
