Job summary

Folsom Cordova Unified School District is seeking an Elementary Paraeducator to support K-5 classrooms. Under supervision, you will assist teachers, reinforce literacy and numeracy, and work with small groups to help students meet goals.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and passing the district’s Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test in reading and math. The position is 4 hours per day, five days per week at school sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass the district Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test in reading and math.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in K-5 settings.
