Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AA degree or 48 college-level credits or paraeducator assessment required.
• Proficient in basic spelling, math and grammar.
• Experience/training in reading instruction, remediation, and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students in accordance with policies.
• Assist teacher with instructional and behavioral programs.
• Tutor individuals or groups in specific skills as directed by the teacher.
• Plan daily/weekly activities with teachers and staff.
• Communicate with staff and parents regarding student progress.
• Assist with room maintenance and inventory of materials.
