Job summary

Georgetown Public Schools is seeking an Academic Interventionist at Penn Brook Elementary School in Georgetown, MA. The position focuses on targeted math instruction for K-5 students within the MTSS framework.

The candidate will work closely with teachers and administrators to support student learning, using data-driven instruction and a collaborative approach to foster strong relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.
• DESE license (preferred).
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to establish positive and supportive relationships with students.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student(s), family, and school information.
• Ability to provide academic instruction to students with disabilities or learning deficits.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily small group targeted instruction based on classroom and assessment data within the MTSS model.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, curriculum coordinator, and building principal.
