The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and NYS teaching licensure, with a minimum of two years of classroom experience. You will work across elementary and middle grades, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to a school culture focused on equity and student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Valid NYS Teaching Licensure or willingness to pursue state certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a school educator.
• Experience in urban or charter schools preferred.
• Flexible schedule outside regular business hours.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Develop academic lesson plans based on students' learning needs; incorporate varied experiences to reinforce new knowledge.
• Use student data to monitor progress and raise engagement in blended learning programs.
• Provide daily feedback on mastery in academics and character.
• Lead small-group tutoring, coaching, goal-setting, and academic case management.
• Perform routine administrative tasks and maintain accurate records and correspondence.
• Demonstrate strong pedagogy and genuine interest in student growth.
