Georgetown Public Schools Penn Brook Elementary School in Georgetown, Massachusetts is seeking an Academic Interventionist for English Language Learners (ELL/ESL) to join our MTSS framework. The role involves daily small-group instruction aligned with classroom data and collaboration with the District ELL Coordinator.

Candidates should have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) and ESL/ELL DESE license; experience with K-5 education and building-level teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• ESL/ELL DESE license preferred for K-6.
• Experience with children and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student and family information.
• Knowledge of MTSS and elementary education practices (K-5).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily small-group targeted instruction based on classroom and assessment data within the MTSS model.
• Support proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for English learners.
• Collaborate with the District ELL Coordinator, teachers, paraprofessionals and service providers.
