South Washington County Schools is seeking a Lunchroom/Recess Paraprofessional for Woodbury Elementary School. The role involves supervising students during lunch and recess, enforcing behavior guidelines, and supporting a safe, positive learning environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to supervise up to 130 students, and basic computer skills. Starting pay is $21.93 per hour with potential $.50/hour increase upon Highly Qualified status.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Competencies as required by State of Minnesota, Federal government, and/or District 833.
• Proven teamwork, confidentiality, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and desire to work with children in the 5-12 year age group.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise large groups of children up to 130.
• Ability to pass Paraprofessional fitness for duty tests.
• Current certification in first aid and CPR.

Responsabilidades

• Familiarize students with and enforce behavioral guidelines for lunch and recess.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students to support learning.
• Coordinate with kitchen and staff to ensure a positive work environment.
• Escort students to lunchroom, restrooms, and nurse's office as needed.
• Provide on-site conflict resolution and refer incidents to the principal.
