Responsibilities include rotating through teaching positions, implementing plans, ensuring safety, and supporting learning activities to help students grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Immediate start; full-time position; $125/day; benefit eligible.

Qualifications

• Must relate well to teachers, students, staff and parents.
• Professional competence and personal integrity required.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience with schools/communities working with children preferred.
• Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to take directions and maintain attendance.
• Experience using Google products and remote lessons preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate into various teaching positions daily.
• Implement lesson plans and directives with fidelity.
• Communicate expectations for student work and behavior.
• Ensure student safety.
• Ensure no interruption in instruction when the teacher is absent.
• Familiarize with district curriculum and resources.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development.
• Perform supervisory duties (lunch, bus, recess).
• Abide by policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as assigned by principal.
• Protect students and property.
• Maintain records as required by law and policy.
• Report suspicions of abuse/neglect to DCYF and principal.
• Maintain confidentiality about students and staff.
• Be a positive role model and support district mission.
• Remain flexible with assignments; stay current on instructional practices.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
