Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share gospel values in public school classrooms. The role combines scripture-informed teaching with engaging classroom management and relationship-building to support students, families and educators.

The ideal candidate is an active church member with strong communication skills, capable of maintaining records, collaborating with staff, and modeling LifeWise policies and beliefs in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy’s Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and become LifeWise Teacher certified within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and engage students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain attendance records, rosters, and materials for substitutes as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean classroom and manage the learning environment.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director and share updates and photos as required.
