Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part‑time teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The candidate should be an active church participant with strong communication skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

The role involves completing training, teaching LifeWise classes with curriculum, fostering relationships with students, maintaining classroom discipline in a redemptive manner, and collaborating with the program director and school

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy faith statements.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom and apply LifeWise policies and resources.
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters and health notes as required.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers about schedules and student well‑being.
