Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with public school students. The role requires a mature Christian faith, active local church participation, and at least two years of teaching experience.

Training, a certification course, and ongoing support are provided to implement the LifeWise curriculum. Responsibilities include planning lessons, building relationships with students, maintaining attendance, and communicating with the program director.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in building relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Create an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Maintain attendance records and rosters; prepare information for substitutes.
