Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel in the public-school setting, blending Bible knowledge with effective teaching to engage both churched and unchurched students.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a mature Christian faith aligned with the LifeWise Statement of Faith, and a calling to nurture students in a redemptive, well‑organized classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in either a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; prepare information for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
