Job summary

Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher OR 48 college units with a high school diploma.
- Passing CBEST with high school diploma OR passing the Instructional Aide Exam.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assists in planning lessons and preparing instructional materials.
- Supervises and tutors individuals or small groups.
- Explains subject matter and administers tests; maintains pupil profiles.
- Maintains instructional equipment and supplies; manages records.
- Maintains classroom discipline and supports behavior management.
- Monitors halls, cafeterias, and school areas as assigned.
- Provides basic first aid as needed and reports incidents.
- Publicizes educational development programs and communicates objectives.
- Performs related duties as required.
