San Francisco Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Aide – Elementary Basic Skills to support kindergarten through elementary students. This temporary, part-time position involves assisting with lesson planning, tutoring students, and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate will have an associates degree or higher (or 48 college units with a HS diploma) and be proficient with Office and Google Workspace. Strong classroom and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher required.
• 48 college units with a high school diploma acceptable.
• CBEST or Instructional Aide Exam with HS diploma required.
• Strong computer skills including Office & Google apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning lessons and preparing instructional materials.
• Supervise and tutor students in small groups or individuals.
• Explain subject matter, administer tests, and maintain student records.
• Maintain classroom discipline and support school site activities.
