Arc After School & Experiential Education in Los Angeles seeks an Assistant Site Coordinator to support a safe, engaging after-school environment for diverse youth. You will assist the Site Coordinator, supervise activities, and help organize enrichment programs across indoor and outdoor settings.

The role requires 2+ years in after-school settings, strong communication with kids and families, and TB/Live Scan checks. Afternoon/morning shifts are available; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in after-school programs or youth recreation in diverse communities.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• College credits or proficiency exam requirement.
• TB test with negative result and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Coordinator as second contact for parents/administrators.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce behavior expectations.
• Coordinate indoor/outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on childcare and safety.
• Address challenging behavior with supervisors/parents when needed.
• Facilitate sign-up procedures and attendance tracking.
• Create clubs (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Lead activities: homework help, games, arts/crafts, projects.
