Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking a Host to greet guests, guide them to tables, and provide exceptional service from arrival to departure. You will maintain menu knowledge, upsell daily specials, and support servers with running food and delivering drinks.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; fluency in English is essential and flexibility across shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English reading/writing and basic math.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Ability to multitask and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a positive first impression.
• Engage with guests, anticipate needs, and respond promptly.
• Maintain menu knowledge and promote specials.
• Handle complaints professionally or escalate to management.
• Assist with running food, delivering and refilling drinks.
• Guide guests to tables and present menus.
• Take to-go orders by phone and in person.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Comply with tip reporting and minimum wage regulations.
