Job summary

Abbott in Chicago, IL is seeking a qualified engineer to provide engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products to physicians, health care professionals and field staff. You will work with independence, applying best practices to deliver effective solutions and drive customer success.

You will develop trainings on EP devices, share market insights with management, and provide regional procedure coverage while staying current on regulatory requirements and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio‑Medical Engineering or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Ability to become certified on EP products.
• A minimum of two years increasingly responsible experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro‑physiology, or cardiac electro‑physiology procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, education and clinical support for EP products to physicians and staff.
• Develop, lead and facilitate trainings on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and assist Sales with demonstrations.
• Stay current on developments in EP, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
• Assist Education with advanced seminars and preparation of educational materials.
