Job summary

The role requires a biomedical engineering background, EP product certification ability, and strong communication skills to build credible relationships and train customers on advanced technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to become certified on EP products.
• 2+ years experience in cardiac pacing or related industries.
• Knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or related procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
• Engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, educational and clinical support to physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field staff.
• Acts as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product knowledge accordingly.
• Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings and other programs on EP products to healthcare professionals.
• Provides insight, guidance, and feedback to management on market feedback and next generation products.
• Provides regional EP procedural case coverage.
• Back-up support to EP Sales Representatives: sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training.
• Keeps engineering, sales and technical skills aligned with Arrhythmia Management strategy.
• Assists Training and Education with advanced seminars and educational materials.
• Assists Sales with advanced product demonstrations to physicians and sales staff.
• Remains current on developments in field, regulatory requirements and industry trends.
