Job summary

Abbott is seeking a biomedical engineer to provide engineering, sales, educational, and clinical support for electrophysiology (EP) products in a Tyler, Texas environment. You will train healthcare professionals, support field inquiries, and stay current on regulatory requirements and market trends.

The role requires a biomedical engineering degree or equivalent healthcare experience, EP product certification ability, and 2+ years in cardiac pacing, with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field (or equivalent healthcare experience).
• Ability to become certified on EP products.
• Experience in cardiac pacing and related industries (2+ years).
• Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or EP procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, educational, and clinical support for EP products to physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Lead trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Develop and share market feedback to management for next‑gen products.
• Provide regional EP procedural coverage and sales support as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends.
