Job summary

Abbott seeks a senior Clinical Specialist for Electrophysiology to provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products. You will respond to complex field inquiries, mentor others, and build strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals across the region.

The role demands expert EP knowledge, independent judgment, and leadership in trainings and vendor interactions, with base pay reflecting market rates for the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year in previous position.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Prior industry/competitive experience (if external).
• Solely dedicated to EP support.
• IBHRE EP certified.
• Considered top performer amongst peers.
• Ability to perform complex EP mapping cases solo.
• Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.
• Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell the value proposition of the full EP portfolio.
• Respects vendor credentialing requirements including COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Acts as senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Demonstrates ability to build and sustain credible business relationships with customers.
• Identifies reports and advises of customer needs, product performance and potential sales opportunities to sales representatives / directors and/or management to influence sales growth and service of accounts.
• Provides engineering, sales, education and clinical support in response to the most complex field inquiries on EP products.
• Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings and other programs on EP products to healthcare professionals.
• Provides insight, guidance, and feedback to management on market feedback and components of next generation of products.
