Job summary

Albany Medical College’s Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty. You will practice the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative environment.

The team includes 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers, with access to diverse EP procedures and a strong focus on education and research within a major academic health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities for academic appointment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across HF, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and APPs
