Albany Medical College Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty. The role spans the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

We are expanding with a team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers to meet rising demand. Albany Medical College, founded in 1839, is a historic private medical school with a major tertiary care hospital in the Capital

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with teaching abilities for academic appointment.
• Leadership qualities and collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
