Job summary

The Division of Cardiology at Albany Medical College invites applications for a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty. This role offers the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

We are building a team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers in a leading center with robust education, research, and clinical programs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completed ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Academic appointment eligibility and NY licensure ability; leadership and teaching aptitude.
• Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction, and advanced device therapy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
