Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a technical support professional to provide expert assistance to customers and end-users of its products. You will diagnose, test, troubleshoot, and perform bench repairs, while supporting customers by phone or email with operations guidance and issue resolution.

Responsibilities include handling orders, parts requests, maintaining service logs, calibrating products, and performing related duties. A.S.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent in Electronics-related experience or technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Working knowledge of basic test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters) and soldering.
• General working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, troubleshoot, and perform bench repairs on returned products.
• Assist customers with operation and troubleshooting of products.
• Communicate with customers over the phone or via e-mail providing technical support.
• Process customer orders, assist with parts requests/orders, enter information, bill out work performed, maintain service log and other records.
• Calibrate and clean products.
• Perform other duties as required.
