Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a technical support technician to assist customers and end-users of our products in a fast-paced environment at our Kansas City, Missouri facility. You will diagnose, test, troubleshoot, and perform bench repairs on returned products, communicate with customers by phone or email, process orders, and maintain service logs while calibrating and cleaning equipment.

This role requires strong problem-solving and customer-service skills and offers ongoing training

Qualifications

A.S. or equivalent in Electronics-related experience or technical training (Preferred).
Able to read and interpret schematics.
Working knowledge of basic test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes, DMM).
Knowledge of soldering.
Experience with MS Office and ERP systems for order entry.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, test, troubleshoot, and perform bench repairs on returned products.
Assist customers with operation and troubleshooting of products.
Communicate with customers via phone or email providing technical support.
Process customer orders, assist with parts requests, enter information, and maintain service logs.
Calibrate and clean products.
Perform other duties as required.
