Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) North Island Main Store Electronics Dept is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to engage customers, highlight products, and support daily store operations. You will help customers recognize needs and communicate product features while maintaining a welcoming environment.

You will handle POS transactions, assist with inventory, and upsell or cross-sell based on customer interests.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents and procedures.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and identify their needs.
• Maintain store appearance and organization.
• Cross-sell and upsell products based on customer needs and current promotions.
• Operate POS system and handle cash, discounts and payments.
• Be the keeper of inventory and ensure proper ticketing and periodic counts.
