NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) at NAS Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA is seeking a part-time Sales Associate/Sales Technician (Computers & Electronics). You will assist Navy families with computer and electronics products, provide in-home installation guidance, and handle POS transactions on a dynamic, service-oriented team.

The role emphasizes technical knowledge, customer service, and compliance with security and background checks to support our military community.

Qualifications

• No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 18 months experience in retail sales possessing technical knowledge of computers and electronics.
• Must pass an employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructions and assist customers with basic computer problems and questions.
• Explain and recommend computer and audio/video merchandise and in-home installation services to help customers make buying decisions.
• Sell electronic goods requiring technical knowledge (home entertainment systems, PCs, cameras, etc.).
• Practice loss prevention procedures and perform related retail sales duties.
• Use a Point-of-Sales system, process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, and cards; cash handling.
