Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronics Repair (Rework) Technician for Vista, CA. The role is contract-to-hire on first shift, with hours 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay is between $19 and $22 per hour, with benefits and potential for full-time placement.

The technician will repair electro-mechanical products, perform basic repairs, and support engineering on more complex tasks under supervision, while following safety and ESD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience performing rework on electronic products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in PCB soldering and SMT assembly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain test, calibration, and repair workstations.
• Perform soldering and rework on PCBs.
• Use microscopes to inspect parts and assemble.
• Analyze blueprints and schematics.
• Collaborate with Engineering on design improvements from a repair perspective.
• Ensure timely delivery of repaired units with quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ESD controls.
• Document repairs using Tempo codes.
• Report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
