Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Solderer Assembler for a first-shift, contract-to-hire role in Poway, CA. You will hand solder and assemble electronic components, reading blueprints and instructions to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications include 6 months to 1 year of soldering experience, electronic assembly know-how, and ability to read drawings. Through-hole and surface mount soldering taught, with a strong emphasis on detail and teamwork.

• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Experience with through-hole and surface mount soldering.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering and electronic assembly of components and products.

• Operate production equipment and hand tools safely.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and workmanship defects.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
