Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. seeks an Electronic Components Project Lead to drive complex electrical and electronic component projects for machine and engine systems.

You will coordinate with engineering, sales, marketing and platform groups to plan, staff, and monitor deliverables while managing costs and stakeholder expectations. You will mentor team members, apply project management practices, assess risks, use Creo and MS Project for design and budgeting, and ensure on-site execution with up to 20%

Qualifications

• Project management strategies for timely execution and risk management.
• Experience designing, developing and testing electrical/electronic components.
• Proficiency with Creo or other 3D modelling software and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex engineering projects for electrical/electronic components in machine/engine systems.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and platform groups to allocate resources.
• Oversee progress, costs, risk, and stakeholder communications.
• Direct staffing, mentor team members, and ensure accountability for technical commitments.
• Apply project management principles to plan, estimate, staff, monitor and control work.
