The role emphasizes ECM/ECU development, collaboration with software and hardware teams, and ensuring platform integration across multiple applications. A degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering is required, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree is required; an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related accredited field is preferred.
• Experience with ECM/ECU design and testing is expected.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry and their design considerations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with functional & environmental requirements for ECM/ECUs.
• Develop product requirements, perform analysis and simulation, select components.
• Review schematics/layout and perform platform verification and validation.
• Collaborate with software, battery, system and machine teams for integration.
• Work with ECM/ECU vendors to develop systems and components.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues during development and production lifecycle.
• Mentor technicians and engineers in electrical/electronic development.
