Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering leaders, integration partners, and stakeholders in the development, integration, and lifecycle management of Caterpillar's electronic component portfolio.

This role accelerates delivery of high-quality components and platforms with end-to-end product quality focus. Operating in a dynamic environment, this leader aligns across component, manufacturing, quality, supplier, and commercial groups, shaping future capabilities

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering.
• Experience leading large, globally distributed teams.
• Experience with electronic component products, integration, and quality management.
• Experience with automotive/mining/industrial supply chains.
• Budgeting, actuals tracking, and capital processes experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead leaders in electronic component development and product quality.
• Drive risk management and educate partners across the org.
• Guide teams to lifecycle product roadmaps.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and empowerment for lifecycle excellence.
• Develop key performance metrics across the organization.
• Drive design for excellence, V&) and CPI best practices.
• Build partnerships with suppliers to meet future needs.
• Ensure regulatory, environmental, and cybersecurity compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Champion emerging technologies and data-driven development.
